Changelog
What's new in Vaakyo, newest first.
2026-10-09
- A quick tour of the console the first time you sign in. Skip it, or replay it any time from your account menu (Take the tour).
2026-10-05
- Busy speech providers no longer fail calls. When a voice or transcriber provider is at its concurrency limit, the agent’s fallback from another provider takes over (a
capacity.fallbackevent), and queued outbound calls wait for room. See Webhook events. - New agents listen with Deepgram and speak with Sarvam, with Sarvam as the speech to text fallback. Existing agents are unchanged.
2026-10-04
- Safer console sign-in. The console and admin keep your sign-in in secure, HttpOnly cookies instead of browser storage: you stay signed in while you use them and are signed out after 7 days without use. API keys and connected apps are unchanged.
- New prices. Pay-as-you-go Starter, Growth and Scale with more minutes, a browser price, included numbers and Truecaller, extra call lines; premium models use included minutes faster. See Plans.
- Steadier calls. A short “haan” or “ok” no longer cuts the agent off (stop words like “wait” or “ruko” still do), interruptions off really means off, interrupted replies keep only what the caller heard, a failing model gets a spoken sorry instead of silence, and the greeting starts sooner. See Interruptions.
- Security hardening. Plivo callbacks must be signed, agents and calls can only use your own numbers, tool and webhook URLs must be public, and existing accounts accept invites while signed in. See Outbound calls and Webhooks.
- Failed calls are free. A call that ends in an error is never charged. See How a call is charged.
- Included minutes. Plans with a monthly fee can include call minutes each month, used before your credits. See Included minutes.
- Browser test calls show an animated persona that speaks, listens and thinks along with the agent, plus a mute button in the agent page’s test panel.
- Composer asks, queues and shows its work. Questions come as cards of options, messages sent while it is busy are queued, its thinking and steps fold away, and long results open as cards. See Composer.
- Composer’s helpers. Each Composer step shows which helper did it: Builder, Debugger, Analyst or Tester.
- Switch plans yourself. Owners can change plans on the Billing page; some plans have a monthly fee taken from credits. See Plans.
- Up to 200 agents per workspace on every plan; ask the Vaakyo team for more.
- Pin agents. Pin up to 3 agents to the top of your agents list and the sidebar. See The agent object.
- Billing in US dollars. A workspace can be billed in INR or USD, with every amount and API response in that currency. See Billing currency.
- Guardrails. Every phone call is checked against Vaakyo’s platform rules. A first violation gets a notice; a second freezes the agent. See Guardrails.
- Agent tests. Run simulated conversations against an agent and get a score before going live. See Testing.
- Transfer to a human. An agent can hand a phone call over to a person. See Call tab.
- ElevenLabs voices. Agents can now speak with ElevenLabs. See Voice tab.
- Truecaller verified caller ID. Show your brand name and logo on outgoing calls. See Truecaller caller ID.
- All 22 Indian languages for Sarvam speech to text, plus more Indian languages for Deepgram and Cartesia.
- Email alerts when credits run low or calls start failing. See Email alerts.
